Karnataka: 90,000 tonnes of imported Malaysian sand lying waste
Industries minister MB Patil told the legislative council on Tuesday that Karnataka had imported a tad over one lakh tonnes of sand to overcome a severe shortage in 2018-19, but it could dispose of only 14,000 tonnes.
